Side effect: Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) can effect on your cycles. Some women have irregular bleeding, some have no bleeding, others get normal periods while on depo. But whatever you experience, we do know that it's side effects can last for up to a year after the last injection. Remember that if you are late for a shot, you are not protected.
