Nails can take some.: Time to heal. I typically have my patients wait 6 months. If the nail is irregular, growing into the nail bed, hooking or lifting up i would consider a total nail avilsion other wise you need to determine if the pain is gong to be there even if you take off the whole nail. I would seek a second opinion from the do you saw before.
