Possibly: The Progesterone in Nexplanon doesn't have as a common side effect, vaginal dryness. You mentioned difficulties during sex, i wasn't sure if dryness was what you were referring to? Maybe rephrase your question being specific with what sexual difficulties you are having?

Possibly.: Lubrication during sex is usually more from the vaginal tissues than from cervical mucous. It's possible that Nexplanon can cause decreased lubrication. Usually the answer is to use lubricant, such as astroglide. If you still have difficulties, it's probably more than a lubrication problem.
