Vitamins: Formula fed babies get a good supply of vitamins in their feedings. Breast fed babies should be on a vitamin with vitamin d (such as poly-vi-sol). That is not likely to be the cause of the infections, though. Children typically get 8-10 viruses per year in the first few years of life, and 3-4 ear infections. The first year in daycare, they get even more. See your doctor if you are concerned.
