Probably safe: If they are simple otc , have been stored correctly and are not antiques you should be fine. If they are a special prescription formula, have been exposed to bad environments and are rancid, moldy, dried out, etc.... Skip it and buy some. Americans are more picky than folk from other countries - expired goods are all some can get in some places. Use common sense and i hope you feel better soon.
