How long does it take for vaginal stitches to dissolve after having a baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Ron Eaker answered

Depends: It depends on the suture material used. A common suture is vicryl which can last 4-6 weeks. Other suture material like chromic may be 2 weeks.

I had a partial hysterectomy +- 3 years ago. 3-5cm of my uterus removed due to non stop bleeding. Therefore I can no longer have babies. With today's technology. Is this able to be repaired? Stitched up and sealed to be able to have kids again?
