A member asked:

Is it dangerous for me to drink caffeinated sodas when i'm pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Risks and benefits: Pregnant women should avoid excess caffeine as it may affect the baby's brain health. For that matter, pregnant women should avoid anything potentially toxic including any medications to avoid a negative effect on the baby's health. Obviously, this is impossible to accomplish - so pregnant women and their doctors need to carefully weigh when it comes to potential risks and benefits.
