Many possibilities: Pain from the shoulder down the arm my be caused by a variety of things. Starting at the neck, there may be a pinched nerve, or the joints in the neck may be irritated. The muscles around the neck and shoulder may develop trigger points or tendonopathy which cause radiating pain. The shoulder itself may develop impingement. A pm;r doc is best able to diagnose the source of your pain.
