HIV Is Hard to Get: I appreciate the worry. Now that four weeks have passed it is time to get the HIV RNA viral test. This test, if negative, will rule out HIV infection. If you get the routine HIV antibody test then it is too soon for that test to be valid. Please seek out the HIV RNA test. It is always best to test rather then to let worry drive us crazy.
