Bad idea: It is difficult to conceive that that small an exposure would cause problems for hours. It would be prudent to wait 24 hours after the exposure, but there should be no issues after that in any case. Tasting something foreign is a bad way to figure out what it is, and can result in potential exposure to even worse toxins. Don't repeat your "experiment.".
