See answer: Since Neurontin (gabapentin) is not a controlled substance nor it is an addictive drug it is not tested for unless there is some specific reason to test for it. A 10 panel drug screen tests for cocaine, amphetamines, methamphetamines (meth), marijuana, methadone, opiates, phencyclidine (pcp), barbiturates, benzodiazepines, and tricyclic antidepressants.
