If tested for: Neurontin (gabapentin) is a non-controlled/non-scheduled/non-addictive medication that is not metabolized by the liver at all and excreted unchanged by the kidneys/renal system. If there is a reason to measure the level, Gabapentin can be measured in the urine. Because it is not controlled there would be no basis for it to be part of a standard urine drug screen.
