Bipolar?: Probably not, but a mental health professional visit can set your mind at ease. More likely this has to do with fatigue, something on your mind, or the topic that sets you off. Congratulations on recognizing your triggers. Now you can create some strategies to deal with them, perhaps through a psychologist.
