Treatment: There are effective treatments available for hcv that can cure 60-85% of patients with hepatitis c. If treatment is not an option, avoid or severely restrict alcohol, eat a healthy well balanced diet and talk to your doctor about all medications and their effect on the liver. Other considerations include milk thistle and vitamin E but that is not recommended yet.
