Xanax (alprazolam) half-life: Immediate release xanax (alprazolam) peaks at 1-2 hours. Extended release at 9 hours. The rapidly disintegrating tablets at 1.5-2 hours. The half life of marijuana is 28 hours, and 56 hours in chronic use. You will have to wait a long time to avoid drug-drug interaction with marijuana.
