Eye: Probably there is something either still there or there may be a small corneal abrasion. If you go to the er or perhaps your pmd they will be able to check it out and treat appropriately. Eyes is not an area to take lightly.

Several things: You should have this checked out, but a couple of possibilities include a corneal abrasion that requires a special technique to see under uv light, and/or a foreign body that is trapped under the upper lid. Sometimes it is just residual irritation that will go away on its own, but it is best to see a doctor for an evaluation, especially since you say the eye is very sore and red.
