Viral illness: A viral infection causes prostration (tiredness) because all the body mechanisms are overworking. Much like revving an engine... It overheats. It gets tired and hot. There is your headache, resulting from dilatation of the vessels in the brain. Fluids fluids fluids. Aspirin, or Acetaminophen ( caution in children). If ever feel stiff neck watch. Encephalitis or meningitis can settle in.
