Cancer chest: If you smoke or have been exposed to lung irritants or have a family history of lung cancer then you have to be diligent about preventive measures. Living a healthy lifestyle, do not smoke, breath clean air, eat healthy diet are good measures to stay healthy. If you have any cancer risks running in family then you should be examined more frequently.

Risk of lung cancer: If you are a nonsmoker and young, there is a small but not zero chance of developing lung cancer. The two negative chest xr should put your mind at ease. A chest xr is one way of detecting lung cancer but if you are a smoker 2packs perday for >10 years a screening ct scan of the lung is better for the higher risk patient.
