Does bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) forte for 10 days 2 pills per day can eradicate streptococcus agalactae type b found in sperm culture?i also gave bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) for my wife too

Need more info: Group b streptococci are common vaginally as colonizers, and the only issues that arise are if your wife is pregnant. It then creates a risk for the baby. If you are not symptomatic your penis was probably colonized by the organism in your wife's vagina. It is possible, but not absolute, that the antibiotics you are taking will eliminate this, but unless you are ill there is no reason to treat.
