How can i stay awake while getting a head ct?

Not a problem: Ct scans take less than one minute - staying awake should not be a problem for this. You might be thinking about an MRI scan which can take up to 45 minutes. Staying awake is useful because it prevents involuntary head movements which can disrupt the scan. Ask the technician running the scanner what he/she can do to help you with this problem.
