Antibiotics: Primary care doctors will prescrib antibiotics for uti. Uncomplicated UTI in females can be treated for 3 days while complicated or recuurent may be treated for longer. Females are advised on proper wiping techniques and drinking plenty of fluids. Complicated or recurrent UTI may warrant work for anatomic cause.
