More info: Are you short of breath only with exertion? If so, factors other than lung problems could be slow heart rate, weak heart muscle and anemia. If you feel that you can't get in a good deep breath but breathe ok with activities, and lung function tests are good, then anxiety and tension could give you that feeling. Your pulmonologist can advise you the best.

Additional PFTs: On your report there should be an interpretation of the findings. Since you were treated with antibiotics and had a chest radiograph, the physicians may have been concerned that you had pneumonia. After an illness, the airway may be prone to constrict. I would suggest a repeat test with/without a bronchodilator.
