My friend has a lump in his rib cage. what kind of specialist i need to see? what do you think is the problem?

Your friend: Needs to see a regular doctor first as they can determine if the lump is from inside growing out or just from outside like a sebaceous cyst or a lipoma then your friend can be sent to the proper specialist who deals with that lump, either regular surgeon or a dermatologist, etc..
