A member asked:

Why is it that some people who smoke still have great teeth/skin/etc.?

Relatively young?: Make no mistake about it, smoking destroys tissues and skin in time and will kill you in the long run.

Wrong!: People who smoke have horrible teeth and gums. Gum tissue becomes swollen, charred ; burnt. How healthy would your skin of your arm be if constantly held next to a fire? Teeth develop significant decay due to the sticky residue left on the teeth from smoking which causes plaque to develop quicker. Bacteria increase. So ultimately smokers lose their teeth and develop major gumline recession.
