No testosterone pill: It is not safe to use oral testosterone. The most common form of testosterone used for women is a compounded cream used daily. Testosterone pellets are a great option and need to be replaced about quarterly. Sometimes women can use testosterone shots, but the dose is very small, and generally you have to find a source of more dilute injectable testosterone than is used for men.
