A member asked:

Help, what to expect at 1st visit to urologist?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. George Klauber answered

Specializes in Pediatric Urology

Depends upon problem: Urologist or associate will take detailed medical history followed by physical examination including genitalia & possibly a digital rectal exam. Urine sample will be requested. Possibly uroflow test, possible an ultrasound examination, depending upon problem. Don't leave before all questions have been answered or at least UR aware of any plans such as diagnostic tests or possible surgery.
