Back pain: Pelvic pain can be caused by arthritis in the low back with impingement of the nerves that radiate into the pelvis and legs (lumbar plexus). Alternatively, inflammation of the sacroiliac (si) joints, kidney stones, or ovarian cysts can cause back and pelvic pain.
