Depends: It depends on the type of dementia. Prion disease ends life very fast few months.

Varies on factors: It depends on the stage of dementia (earlier stage = live longer), their age at the time of diagnosis (younger people will live longer than older people with dementia), the type of dementia, gender (women live a bit longer than men), the person’s health/frailty, and other factors.
