Nasal mucus: Nasal mucus is not harmful. It is produced by everyone’s nose and sinuses. It normally drains inconspicuously down the throat. If you are noticing it, it may mean that your mucus is dry due to medication side effect or dehydration. It also can be indicative of a problem, such as allergies, viral infection, or a bacterial infection.
