INCIDENCE IS INCREAS: Even thogh it is true that incidence of high blood pressure is rising lately.It is because of change in eating habits, too much junk food containing high salt, obesity and lack of exercise. Still we do not see too many teenagers with high blood pressure like we see in adults and incidence increases as people age.Most teenagers can be guided and treated with life style modifications, some need meds.

Increasing: In incidence but still not common place. Poor diets, lack of exercise and obesity are causing it o increase. High blood pressure incidence increases with age, family history also plays a role.
