Serious Rx: If your acne is "terrible", you have a serious illness and you'll have to grit your teeth and endure some skin discomfort. If topical benzoyl peroxide hasn't cleared you in two weeks, get with your physician. Severe acne makes you a candidate for isotretinoin, if you're brave enough. Or an antibiotic may be added to your topical rx and you might remain fairly comfortable. Be strong and good luck.
