A member asked:

What will be the outcome of chemoembolization?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Chemoembolization to treat malignancies seldom destroys the whole thing. Outcome depends on how "vascular" the tumor is. Usually cells near the edge of the tumor are not destroyed. Pain, fever, sometimes more serious problems can occur with chemoembolization.
