Has anyone had improvement of carcinoma after chemoembolization?

Yes: Chemoembolization has a role in the treatment of cancers. If there was never any improvement, this type of treatment would no longer be used. It is sometimes used in tumors of the liver.

Making sure that the entire tumor is targeted & if suspected extrahepatic supply is interrogated will significantly impact the outcomes. Effectiveness of superselective chemoembo has better results in smaller nodules and combination therapy should be considered for larger lesions.
