Optimum treatment: For COPD will include o2 as needed for saturation, bronchodilator to open lungs as rescue, a long acting anticholinergic, and at least an inhaled steroid to prevent inflammation. COPD...: Copd, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, is typically due to smoking. If your oxygen level is low, supplemental oxygen is prescribed. A sleep test, if you haven't had one, would also rule out sleep apnea as a reason for low oxygen level at night. You may also need a 6 minute walk test to be sure you don't need oxygen with activity. A nebulizer is a way to take inhaled meds. Did i answer your ?
