Proteinuria: You are taking olmesartan (o) which can lower blood pressure and the amount of protein (p) in your urine. Ask you doctor to order a 24 hour urine collection to see how much p you have in your urine. If you are not on 40 mg of o, ask your physician to increase the drug of o to that dose. The lowering of p is dependent on the dose of o, the higher the dose the more the reduction of p. Bon chance.

HTN: 0.2/l of proteinuria is within normal range. If your blood pressure is also well controlled (less than 140/90) you are in good shape under current treatment regimen!
