Breast Lump: At your age it is unlikely that it is cancer, more likely it is normal breast tissue. Every woman's breasts are "lumpy, bumpy" some more so than others. That is why it is important to do regular exams to check for changes. That being said, it is always better to get any lump checked out by your doctor than ignor it. Especially if it is new or changing.

See md: Unlikely cancer at your age, much more likely other benign (not cancerous) abnormality. May change in size or texture with menstrual cycle. Get examined.

Need exam, bx: A mass usually requires biopsy. At the young age you mention it will usually be benign, such as a fibroadenoma, but medical examination is needed, possibly mammography. Cancer at your age would be unusual. Benign fibroadenomata are more likely at your age, but care has to be exercised and surgical biopsy is probably necessary for identification. Some follow up by md at your age usually safe.
