Yes: Vitamin d is extremely important for your immune system, and maintenance of bone density. Optimum levels range between 60-70 ng/dl. You are scraping the bottom. I recommend supplementing with 10, 000 iu of vitamin d3 each day, and repeat your levels in 2-3 months. When you reach your desired level, cut your dose to 5, 000 iu/day.
