Growing Pains?: You may be experiencing a period of bone growth, which sometimes can be painful. What are your vitamin d levels? And how much d3 are you taking? Vitamin d should optimally be in the 60-70 ng/dl range. Are your levels going up? If not, you need to increase your supplement dosage (5-10, 000 iu/day until you reach your desired level).

Serum 25OHD assay: You need to have a test for serum 25ohd to see if you have a normal level. If you do another cause should be sought. If it is low a higher dose of vitamin d should be taken.
