How long after taking flagyl for 4 days through iv and then 10 days orally will side effects go away?

About 24 hrs.: About a day after your last dose the "side effects" should dissipate. You should not drink any alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hrs after your last dose. If you're having loose stools after your regimin, you could add yogurt, any brand or flavor. If you have serious, watery diarrhea you should call your doctor. Good luck.
