A member asked:

How do i stop or at least slow rectal mucus discharges?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You need scoped: You haven't said how long you've had rectal mucus discharge, but, if you haven't been evaluated by a GI or colorectal surgeon , you need to do so. You'll need endoscopy of the colon to see what's going on. You may well have some form of colitis, which could be inflammatory bowel disease. This can present later in life. Talk to your doctor about this. Good luck.
