Prolonged periods: You need to see your doctor and find out if you are anemic, if so, you need tests done to see why the period is lasting so long. There are many reasons. If none are found, you may need to take birth control pills to control your periods. This could also happen from prolonged use of advil (ibuprofen) or other pain medicine.
