How can you tell the difference if you have appendices or whether its just bad gas?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Appendicitis: Appendicitis usually causes discomfort in the right lower portion of the abdomen and the area is tender to touch. Some cases are atypical, however, and if you have constant abdominal discomfort, it's best to be examined by a physician. Gaseous discomfort usually causes abdominal bloating which is more diffuse.
