Nerve surgery: It would be helpful to know where on your foot the surgery took place. Was it on the ball or inside of ankle? In either case sometimes when a nerve is intentionally cut, the ending of the nerve can form scar tissue.You should return to the surgeon expressing these issues for follow up care.

Several reasons: There are seberal reasons this could happen but i really need to know where on the foot the procedure was done and how long ago and for what reason. The most likely reason is that the nerve is trapped in scar tissue from the surgery.
