If you aren't: Sure whether the light bleeding in january was an actual period and not spotting - would take a home pregnancy test.

Pregnancy test: If you are late for your period the first thing to do is to take a home pregnancy test. Then you can schedule a visit to have your vaginal discharge evaluated.
