Is it safe to take the reclass for bones?

Yes: Reclast (zoledronic acid) is an intravenous form of a bisphosphonate. Bisphosphonates (including fosamax, actonel, boniva) are the most common meds used to treat osteoporosis. They all work in a similar way. The major advantage to Reclast (zoledronic acid) is that it is given once yearly, and does not have GI side effects like the ones taken orally. There may be a slightly higher risk of atrial fibrillation with this drug.
