Nothing: A blood test alone doesn't diagnose rheumatoid arthritis. It can be positive for many reasons. It can also be positive for no reason. If you are having stiffness, joint pain or other problems you should see a doctor to sort it out.

It depends: That is only a mild elevation and patients with RA usually have a value above 150. The rheumatoid factor is also not specific. Therefore, a value of only 37.8 probably means nothing. The ccp antibody is a much more specific test for ra.
