High blood pressure while pregnant . why ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HBP and pregnancy: This is your first pregnancy and you should call your OB and have a urine analysis. If you have proteinuria, you may be developing pre-eclampsia (p). Hypertension is a serious finding in pregnancy and while all hypertensive patients do not develop p, it needs to checked for. Call you OB as soon as possible.
