$1M question: I want to say let them turn into teens - then they will eat consistently and constantly. This is a very good question. Serving a balanced diet with variety that gets the kids interested in nutrition helps, as does minimizing fast food, soft drinks and pre-packaged foods from their daily diet. If old enough, get them involved in meal planning. It's still a challenge but can be done.

You Don't: Kids often are very erratic in their eating patterns. Do not cave in if they refuse to eat what you offer them.Be firm. Do not give them only what they want to eat, when they are poor food choices. All kids will eventually eat when they are hungry.
