Need for examination: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining your bf and his symptoms warrant evaluation by a physician. In the meantime he can try over the counter pain medication.

I have had xrays on my left knee to see what is wrong with it due to it being swollen and hurting back in July. I was diagnosed with have patella in both knees. After physical therapy, my swelling went down - but now its back when I am moving a lot. It doesnt hurt but there is a lot of fluid on the knee and it seems to go away when I work out. But swells when Im doing daily activities: walking, etc. wondering if I need to go back to the doctor or continue PT exercises Swollen Left Knee?
