Soft Tissue Injury: Sudden onset pain in knee while playing, running, fall and sudden twist etc associated with swlling, tenderness, warmness and difficulty to bear weight on the involved knee joint in usually indicative of a soft tissue injury in the knee. Knee has several ligaments, tendons and joint capsule. So any soft tissue ca be damaged. It needs further assessment by an er, urgent care or ortho doctor.
